ABOUT

Ten years building
teams. Now building
AI teams.

Hey, I’m Austin. Dallas-born, Houston-based, and deeply embedded in the Texas tech ecosystem. I started my career in the Big Four before moving into tech staffing, where I spent a decade placing software engineers at some of the largest enterprise organizations in the country, including banks, Fortune 500 tech orgs, and enterprise software companies.

Over time, I got more focused on what mattered: the intersection of startup velocity and AI engineering depth. I've helped VC-backed companies build founding engineering teams, grown a digital agency from one person to ten and six figures to multi-seven figures, and now run Racehorse AI Solutions, focused exclusively on the engineers building the next generation of AI products. I also run my own shop on AI automation, which means I live what I sell.

Big Four
Foundation in enterprise operations, client management, and large-scale org dynamics — the lens through which I still evaluate every search.
Why it matters
I've been on both sides — growing a staffing org, running my own agency, and deploying AI automation for real clients. I know what good engineering looks like and what a hard search feels like. That's the difference between a recruiter who sends resumes and one who closes.
